Peachstate Audio Fall 2019 Seminars Recap

A huge part of our marketing efforts are focused on manufacturer-led seminars throughout the year. We have these events roughly once a month in the Spring and Fall and offer educational topics or training sessions that are relevant and timely. Whether it be something customers have requested, a new product launch, or a line of products that are in high-demand, we want to make sure we bring the absolute best information and products to our customers.
This fall has proven to be our most successful stretch of seminars ever based on attendance and audience feedback. First up, in August we hosted a D-Live training session with Allen & Heath. Next, we welcomed Yamaha in September for a condensed version of their Audioversity program. In October we had CHAUVET come to present "How To Light A Stage" and then finished the month off with RCF to help them celebrate their 70th Anniversary. Read on for a mini-recap of each event!

InfoComm 2019 Recap

Every year, InfoComm shows off the newest products in the A/V landscape. We headed down to Orlando to walk the show floor and find the next products our customers would like to see. The products below caught our eye because of their innovative designs, problem solving capabilities, or because they are just plain cool. We have them broken down between Audio, Unified Communications, and Video/Lighting.

Next Level DJ Seminar Recap

On Thursday, March 8th Peachstate Audio hosted a DJ Seminar featuring manufacturers from Pioneer DJ, RCF, Sennheiser, and ADJ. This event was focused towards DJs who want to take their business to the next level by improving their skills through training and equipment knowledge.

To kick off the event, Steve Wingo of Sennheiser presented on Proper Gain Staging. This targeted a frequent issue that DJs run into, feedback and distortion.
After laying down the basics, Steve transitioned to the product presentation of the new XSW-D Wireless. These simple, easy to use sets essentially eliminate the need for cables using 2.4 GHz connections between a portable transmitter and receiver. For a DJ, the Vocal and XLR Base sets are particularly useful. For more information about this line of products, check out the quick videos below.

Next up was Chuck Dillingham from Freed Sales representing ADJ. Chuck covered some DMX and Wireless DMX basics for DJs, then transitioned into some product offerings.…

NAMM Show 2019 Recap

NAMM Show 2019 Recap

We recently took a trip west to the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA and wanted to share some of the highlights we saw at the show. Read on for hot new products debuts and demonstrations!

Our first stop was at ElectroVoice to check out their new Wireless RE3 system. One of the highlights of this system is the interchangeable mic capsules, including Shure capsules. We have a quick video of Dan Shawgo from SalesForce doing a demo below. If you'd like to know more information about the line you can contact your sales associate or read more from ProSound Webhere.

In addition to hearing dbTechnologies at the Loudspeaker System Showcase (which they sounded great across the board with their VIOL208 System), we went by their booth to see some of their new products. We got to see the new VIO X System, conceived as a point-source completion for the VIO family. The new VIO X series provides a broad spectrum of professional applications as well as flexible configuration options.

AV Networking Made Easy Seminar Recap

On Thursday, October 25, 2018 Peachstate Audio hosted an event with Luminex Network Intelligence, DiGiCo, and West Penn Wire. The event, dubbed "AV Networking Made Easy" came from the tagline of Luminex network switches. The seminar was planned due to the rise of networking knowledge that AV Professionals need to know to set up IP-Based systems. We wanted to give customers a chance to learn solutions that would help them set up AV Networks without prior IT knowledge.
Rex Austin, Southeastern Sales Manager for West Penn Wire, kicked off the morning with his presentation. He opened by introducing the customers to the product and what makes it different. He then moved to different types of Category Cables and Fiber, specifically those that might be used in networking. For a full video of Rex's presentation, please check out the video below from Peachstate Audio's YouTube page.

Next up, Rik Kirby of Allied Professional Technologies gave a presentation on Luminex Networ…
