Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Parade 2018

Over Memorial Day Weekend, we were proud to sponsor a "float" in Atlanta's Caribbean Carnival Parade. The Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association (ACCBA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to  promote a broader understanding and deeper appreciation for Caribbean culture by seeking the interest of Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Groups and using the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival as a vehicle for the promotion of Caribbean Culture among the broader Metro Atlanta Community.

Our customer Peter Kahn designed the float for the parade, complete with Yorkville & ElectroVoice loudspeakers and subs. Products included the Yorkville EF15P 15"  loudspeaker & 21" Powered Subwoofer Elite, and the ElectroVoice 15" Three-Way Loudspeakers. This rig packed some serious power!

If the staggering size of the float and the power of the loudspeakers aren't enough, let's take a peek under the hood and look at some of the media mixers and control proces…

Recapping our Spring Product Showcase with Allen & Heath, QSC, Shure, and more!
On Thursday, April 19th HWPco and Peachstate Audio presented the Spring Product Showcase. The event was educational and hands-on featuring a masterclass inAllen & Heathmixing led by Kevin Madden.
The event was a full house, with plenty of folks arriving early to get some hands-on time with the consoles prior to the session. First up, Kevin Madden gave an overview of the Allen & Heath product offerings, as well as the history of the company and how the technology has progressed.

After an hour of time with the consoles, the lesson concluded and attendees broke for lunch. A lunch of BBQ from Sugar Hill Smokehouse was provided, and attendees had some ti…

Peachstate Audio was pleased to be a part of the recent North Gwinnett 7A State Championship win in both big and small ways. North Gwinnett High School is located in Suwanee, GA and is less than a mile away from the office. After an intense, bitterly cold game was played they proved triumphant and won the football game over Colquitt County.

There is a stronger connection than distance between Peachtate Audio and North Gwinnett. Multiple employees attended the school and played on athletic teams at North Gwinnett. Mike O'Rouke, President of Peachstate Audio and NG Alumnus, has served as a community coach for the football team for the last 10 years. In addition to helping the program with their field sound system and coach's headsets, he was also the kicking coach for many of those years.
